Pros & Cons

Pros

Works good with my 2006 f150 lariat. Key fits great in my ignition as it should! These keys are far better than the generic keys & fob that come standard with the 07 gt500.

To program the key, you need two original keys that crank the car. Easy setup but a little hard to get the key portion to be copied to device.

Cons

The key will never turn the ignition over as proven by various locksmiths and the dealer. The chip is not compatible with my 2011 ford flex. The item was to be mailed back at my own cost.

When i get the key out of the bag first thing notice is the key has been cut. Even these instructions are strange. I attempted to program them to the car per the owner's manual instructions and it repeated says key program failure.

These keys are far better than the generic keys fob that come standard with the 07 gt500

But thats a me issue not the product

I assume that the pats system might be interfering with the wireless signal from the fob

Packaging/appearance

It doesnt open the liftgate but it pops the glass

Competitiveness

Just wish this key came with a ford emblem

Can confirm that these work on a 2005 f150 as well as a 2013 f350

They came in about 2 days i took them to lowes and they cut them for free programming was easy on both the remote and the transponder yes the key it self will need programming i have an 06 ford mustang with both factory keys so it was a simple procedure that took about 30 seconds in total if you only have 1 key or have no keys you will need to go to the dealership to have it cut and programmed for your car

Initially i was not able to program the remote and thought the remote chip was broken after trying countless times but i accidentally found out why it wasn’t working when i successfully programmed one fob while using the original “dumb” key in the ignition
