Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

Wooden handle is perfect for modifying and for customizing. Kiln-dried poplar, air-dried crape myrtle, and air- dried live oak all carved with relative ease.

The steel holds a nice edge, and easily strops back to razor sharpness. It's sharp enough to use without sharpening and it’s a great rough out knife.

After some cleanup the knife is a very good value for $13 dollars. Beavercraft is the only brand i buy. Always happy with my purchases from them.

The knife works perfectly as i buy usability not looks. I definitely recommend this knife, especially if you’re a beginner who doesn’t want to invest a ton of money yet.

Cons

Cheap steel and rough craftsmanship. Strictly inexpensive beginner level. Handle is not ergonomic.

I was wrong inside the cardboard box was the knife with a temporary plastic blade protector for shipping and three bandaids for who handle this knife carelessly

I am the worlds worst knife sharpener so i don’t mind spending a few bucks to get a new knife with a great edge on it couple times a year after i spent an evening trying to sharpen things and just barely hit a neutral point so buy a few blades and enjoy your carving

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

It is worth the money but be very careful because i bought some gloves specifically for this and it stabbed right through them

However was totally unsharpened out if the box

Because i had attempted and failed to sharpen it i felt like i was out of luck
