The top opens to the main area for placing either incense cones or sticks for burning. It is made beautifully and very sturdy. Fantastic looking incense stick holder.

Thoroughly disappointing with the product. There is a reason this is discounted to 4 pounds. Not as advertised on the picture.
Wood is so light that it dissolves with every cone. The wood is badly scratched. They're just wood off-cuts stuck together with some dodgy inferior wood glue.

However absolutely amazing quality some ive seen in actual shops are stiff and difficult to closeopen
For those people expecting first class precision workmanship you will be disappointed

I bought this for him so he can store incense neatly and burn sticks cones and smudge sticks in one

However there is a flaw with itthe small holes either end where the incense stick is placed has been drilled incorrectly

Good item looks nice on fire does job holes are too big for stick so drilled smaller one in as if you dont you have to snap peices off stick to into hole to keep insence stick straight
