Pros
It's not the softest or thickest and most comfortable but that is what you trade for compactness. Nice compact and lightweight. Super light weight and easy to fold back into bag.
Not water proof but definitely water resistant. Used as an emergency shelter in a thunderstorm. Only drawback is if you lay on it like a beach towel to dry there will be a puddle under you because it is water-proof.
Product is puncture and kid proof. One of my favorite purchases. Especially for the price.
Cons
Was lightweight. Pain to fold but possible. Did repel water. It just flies away at the park unless you pin it down. Pain in * to put in back in holder.

Only down side is that it takes some thought to get it folded back up small enough to fit back into the sack
