Pros

Everything seems top notch. I like the finish, and the logo doesn't look cheap or cheesy. Really impressed with the quality and brightness.

Red light seems to soften the atmosphere and the fish appear to be comfortable. Female betta sororities can get stressed easily.

Ther light is amazing! It has 5 leds per row instead of 3 like this one has. I have 5 aquariums and several lights this is my fav.

This is the second of these i've purchased to fit two different tanks. I have a reptile type lid over a 20 gallon long tank and this light sits perfectly on top. Fits the 36 gallon now front perfectly.

Placed on 5 gallon tank by removing extender arms. I am an experienced plant grower. I supplement with all the correct fertilizers and know how to care of plants so that is not the problem.

Cons

Only the lamp beside the tank is illuminating the tank. My female gold ram turns pale in the light, and hides when it is on also. Shipping was delayed and came poorly packaged.

Of course they did to tell me that but it appears to be a quality product and looks great on my tank

I do see the lights colors shimmering on my sand with the water flow

Not sure why it didnt come with the sealed threaded plugs considering they are timer ready

Price

It is plastic but one cannot be choosy considering the price

Competitiveness

It also works great if you have a bifold glass lid or 1 piece plexiglass lid

Ive tried nicrew and dont like those even close to as much as beamswork lights

I bought two 30 units for my 130gallon tank 68l x 17w x 27
