Today received my second set of pliers ordered from amazon and was amazed at the difference between these two similarly priced pliers

I mistakenly ordered two different sets of splitring pliers the first was this set from an outside vendor and worked all last night with them opening tiny little doublerings and getting frustrated

The pliers do open the ring but not nearly as wide as was needed
