Pros

This is the best ferro rod i've ever used. Good thick paracord and decent striker. Once you scrape past the paint it makes a good amount of sparks pretty easy.

Easy to use, nice grip, lightweight. I'm a beginner at survival skills and this was really easy to use. It's a bit tedious but didn't take to long.

Comes with a fair amount of braided paracord. I have it secured to the back of my condor bushlore sheath.

Cons

In order to actually get a fire going, your kindling would need to be doused in lighter fluid. The mixture of metals that make up a good ferro rod were present only on the surface of this particular rod.
