Pros
The wood is solid again west elm & scandinavian design quality. It's solidly built, has a beautiful finish, and easy to assemble. It feels super solid and hand made.
Cons
The desk has a major crack in the side and the left drawer is totally cracked. The desk is also cracked.

Super shallow super hard to pull out the trackpull mechanism is super tight so you have to yank them out which is not ideal
At first i thought the reviews were exaggerating but after using it a few times it becomes evident that the drawers are poorly designed

Bottom line though this is a very lovely midcentury desk at a great price
It looks great in person its the perfect size for me and matches my boyfriends midcentury desk but at half the price
Nice desk for the money works well
I love my desk but it is definitely overpriced
Packaging/appearance
The moment i opened the box i could smell the wood and stain
My only negative comment one of my white drawers came with a stain which looks like a blue ink that im unable to remove

The bottom had a tiny scratch on it on delivery this wasnt a problem but it wouldve been if it were on the top side

The drawers are very 34sticky34 on opening and closing but i actually think thats a good thing—to have them popping out or slamming back in wouldve indicated a cheap product

The drawers are shallow but it’s a writing desk not sure why y’all need to store bigger items than pens papers sticky notes or other writing materials
