For a camera grip that was made for a camera that is not built for a grip, this is perfect! It works just as advertised!

Cons

The vivitar grip doesn't perform as advertised. It holds a single battery pack and the device requires that the camera battery be removed. It's a great concept but once it's attached the cameras control * are not accessible.

I bought this grip with the knowledge that the grip would not fire the shutter unless the remote shutter cable was attached and that it does not allow for you to have two batteries in my camera at one time
