The shelf is quite large sturdy and well worth every penny. Needed storage to clean up our junk drawer some. The bins are spacious and adjustable. They are durable, sturdy and stylish.

The shelves measure 17 on top because they are an inch more than the top

I would definitely recommend you measure your space between your existing shelves and your door to ensure you have the space as the depth of the item is much deeper than it looks
