Cons

The battery was broken out of the box. It's hard to deal with something that is broken and leaking hazmat. Make a backup sump pump battery for $70 less. We cannot use other marine battries in this unit without being hounded.

I needed a special cap for the battery sensor it didnt come with the battery

The price is a little high for a vented old style design but you dont have a choice unless you decide to replace the entire system
