Pros
The price is well within the affordable range. Very accurate though and very pleased with the purchase.
The only real drawback is that the scope looks like it's too long to allow the installation of aftermarket sights. Solid construction and very simple installation make this an awesome red dot scope.
Brightness adjustment works well. The dot is easy to see in sun as well as shade. My only complaint is that the dot is distorted.
Cons
Parallax is off by 5-6 inches at 20 ft, at 50 yards where it's supposed to be parallax free it's off by about 2-3 feet. Adjusters do nothing!
This makes it unusable. Consider a more robust alternative.
The casing feels nice, but being this poor optically makes it worthless. When i bought a new battery and inserted it, the dot is so weak that it only shows up on the 11th level which is the brightest. Shards of loose glass is inside the the tube.

Ordered the barska red dot 50mm rifle scope and before it arrived i made the mistake of reading the reviews by some of the uninformed prior to its arrival

Upon arrival i examined the unit and low and behold my scope had that darn manufactures error of putting the front inner lens in at an angle just like in the review

Well the design depends on that same angled inner lens to properly reflect that red dot into the field of vision

If you look at the back lens and against the tube you can see the spot where the red dot is generated producing the red light that is reflected on that same angled lens thus you see a red dot in the center of the lens
