Pros

The views are stable and not shaking as you view. Good product at the same price as some of its plastic competitors. Well made, should last a lifetime or two.

Semi-elegant, but works fine. Works well. Now they no longer rub. The problem has been solved.

Cons

This tripod adapter screw is too small to fit the bushnell binoculars i just received from amazon! Does not work with my vortex diamondback binos. Doesn't connect at all with my * grip head.

If you are a binocular user and you need to have your hands free then the barska mounting adapter is a lifesaver

Not sure if there is a way to engineer in a simple way to prevent the screw from backing out of the binos

Overall a good product at the same price as some of its plastic competitors

Im using a manfroto 3275 tripod head and the plates mounting screw went right in to the base of the adapter and secured just fine

If using pliers be careful not to strip the threads on the adapter or on your binos
