Pros

This scope has a grip and tripod mount. The construction is sound and though it's not as small as my mini-monocular i used to carry around strapped to my belt, this one is still compact enough. Need an extra 2-3 inches and it would be a perfect small ...  Read More

The barska scope has a 125 times on max zoom for under $150. The front sight is elevation--up or down. The attached photo shows a railroad crossing sign that is 1300 yards away. The larger lens diameter allows for good low-light viewing conditions.

Can be used for bird spotting. Having your own spotting scope is good for your hygiene. Makes zeroing your rifle easier.

Bought a 7 tv. Best kept secret around. Very impressed. Awesome spotting. First one for me.

Cons

Inferior product. Bad, bad amazon. Used the return credit and paid about $100 more and got a redfield rampage kit.

The scope is unusable at any zoom. The image itself shrinks to a pinhole of light at higher magnification.

The focus is very finicky and difficult to get dialed in and the mag ring is tight. To get a clear picture while looking through the rear lense required that my eyeball almost touched the class. Focusing on mine is stiff and requires both hands to tur...  Read More

Doesn't focus well feels and reacts like a $25 optic.

Straight eyepiece requires the scope to be very high on a tripod to look through it. The included tripod is flimsy and unstable.

Quality

Great accessories with the scope as well

I have used this with the grip but not the tripod so far

It is a nice spotting scope but it offers a very poor quality picture after the 200 meters

I think most people would be happy with the case though

Price

Great little spotting scope for an incredibly reasonable price

This is a great scope for the price

Competitiveness

This scope has all the power in the world for our f class 1k rifle competition

Very good scope for way less than the fancy name brands

If you’re into competition shooting and you need better optics then buy something else and spend alot more money

Dont think i would use this in competition long range shooting but for kicking around your local range its perfect

It also has a great box and good clarity however it has a wimpy tripod that leaves the scope extremely nose heavy and hard to zero in

Could see the space under the moss at the corner where dirt was missing under it

Made it so i could not see the color of plants as good

Was a good case to ship it in though so i guess it made sure the thing got here alright

I just bought 10x42 binoculars and thought it would be cool if a had a spotting scope to see even further

However at maximum zoom at 300 yards it was little hard to focus on the bullet holes on paper unless you have good eye sight or get a cheater scope and mount your phone on it

Remember this does not have ed glass so if you are looking to see pinpoint holes in targets beyond 75 yards or so think again

Be careful when reviewing scopes when looking at the images they provide they can be deceiving for sure
