Pros & Cons
Pros
Used on a 2005 chevy equinox with a compression leak into the water jacket somewhere. It sure beats the $10k dealership estimated to replace the engine.
Worked as advertised. Follow instructions in detail, also watch videos of successful applications. Follow all instruction to the letter.
Half a bottle of xterra coolant in oil. Poured a few ounces over an exhaust manifold / head leak. Added half the bottle into the overflow reservoir and topped off with coolant.
Cons
The car starts leaking coolant in multiple places. When the product heats up it hardens to glass. Maybe my car's condition is too forgone for it to be effective.
Didnt think much of it. Maybe that othe brand is better but they both use teflon so i dont know. Save the money for the real corrective action. They offer a $10 rebate that comes via only a credit/debit card for which they charge a $3.
