Pros & Cons
Pros
This grinder looks downright lovely. While not inexpensive, the grinder performs beautifully. Pid wonderful grinder.
The anti-static plastic bin seems, so far, to live up to it's description. This one captures the grounds nicely in the container. My kitchen scale has one-gram resolution.
Calibration is easy, whether you want to focus more on chasing the perfect shot of espresso or want a broader range of grind settings. The micro-adjustments make it easy to get the perfect grind setting for every brewing method. One drawback is that i... Read More
Cons
Worked great for the first 3. Now it constantly clogs with multiple beans. The grinder grinds, but the grinds won't push down the *, so everything backs up. It works great when working but after some amount of time it starts out grinding the coffee to... Read More
Highlights
Quality
Easy to use, infinite dose-weight adjustments, easy to remove the top burr to clean inside periodically.
5 years after purchasing this grinder, it still works great and has needed 0 repairs.
Also stopped working once and after cleaning, resetting, reset again, it worked
The bin is plastic, and “anti-static” claims by the manufacturer notwithstanding, grounds do too cling.
Price
If you can get past the price, i'd highly recommend.
While not inexpensive, the grinder performs beautifully (if not knocked to the floor) for years with consistency.
Once you get into the $200 range you are getting, basically, the same thing from your middle to high-end conical burr grinders.
It's expensive, but it is worth every penny if you are a coffee aficionado.

The new drive belt is $14 shipped, and i'm confident that this machine is going to be in service for another 10 years.

You get nice, even grinds every time, and it's fairly quiet and quick compared to other grinders i've owned.
I don't know of another grinder that features flat burrs at a comparable price point, let alone with a weight-based feature.
2 grams, but i brew with a chemex so that small of a variance is totally okay.
