We meet regis, a barber-surgeon, who also happens to be a vampire. It’s definitely in keeping with the story and progressing it quite well. A time of reckoning is at hand, a baptism of fire.

Time and pov jumping isn't a big deal, or maybe i'm just such a book and series *, i'm used to it. However, my favorite part of this book is milva. It makes me want to reach into the book and throttle the * men.

Characters are always in a moral dilemma what to choose. Sapkowski interweaves the exploits of the characters within their world without info-dumping for paragraphs.
