Pros
They have removable antennas so you can upgrade if you like. The stock antenna works just fine.
They are durable for rough play and would work well for bug-out bags and familly vacations. I take them on camping trips and they work flawlessly. They work great in our area which is quite large and hilly.
They are light and the battery lasts all day. Full charged battery with a meter on them top output is 1.
Cons
After only one charge on the included charger radio #2's battery begins to leak battery acid. While fine for ham radio (if reprogrammed) please do not contribute to interference with legitimate licensed users or worse, public safety. These are not frs... Read More
