It was straight forward just like all push to start system you have to push in a cut key to keep the steering from locking it cant start with out the remote close by and that how it should work when you drive off all doors close it is a good system but one problem i have i have to arm the alarm system it does not auto arm so if you forget to arm you car it will leave open and on arm nothing like the prestige alarm system

Doesn’t come with a bypass something that is needed the cost of it is about 120
