Pros
Full and bright for all genres. Great app for tuning sound and getting updates. For most pop music and much genre stuff (metallica) this is fine. I’m no audiophile but i love music and know what sounds good.
App is a mixed bag. You also have to reckon with a certain quirkiness in the connectivity. The bo ups the ante with a dust rating of 5.
The case is real leather with chamfered aluminum edges and leather exterior. The case allows for wireless charging and it has a usb-c port on the back. Just seat it on you wireless charging pad.
The earbuds sit comfortably in my ears. They aren't incredibly loud -- which is a bummer -- but they do such a superb job at noise filtering that it legitimately sounds like i have no earbud in. I always listen to a piece with a glass harmonica in it ... Read More
The most improved feature on these is the transparency mode. The noice cancellation feature is fantastic when i want to focus and think and strategize or problem solve. The tapping feature to pause and restart music is very sensitive to the touch.
Cons

Even with the 10 business day timeframe, it's been too long. If this is reflective of b&o's products, it’s time to hang it up.

Almost unlistenable and certainly fatiguing due to the edgy mids and highs. The voice is faint and cracks. These e8's are so fatiguing and sharp that they really ruin all music.

In short the sound quality is quite amazing
I own several bo speakers and earbuds and highly recommend them if sound quality is important
Sound quality inferior to h5’s which is a disappointment after loving the h5 so much
I ended up sticking with the pair that was already attached when they first arrived
Price
I think they are well worth the cost
I always thought that band olufsen was outside my price threshold but recently ive found affordable options on amazon and tried them
In the next version anc is a must and then inclusion of qi charging pad with price

Sadly for the price you pay for these they dont pair separately like the air pods do

Also you dont get active noise cancellation you get merely noise isolation which is passive
