I am in total awe of the amount of research that andrew turpin must do before he writes his books. Turpin weaves the past animosities in ireland into the simmering, current resentments with a story that is believable and entertaining.

Cons

Does the reader really need to know the exact length of a rifle as well as the calibre? Sadly, the same meticulous attention to detail was also applied to the plot.
