Pros

All medal types work with this watch. The watch is more durable it seems then the us version of the watch. Has a sd card slot for updating as well as a light that acts as though you are looking for yo kai.

The u prototype shines all different colored lights when you insert a medal. Comes with 2 sparkly, translucent red merica medals. I love the new summoning songs and detailed design.

Cons

All the medals make the same sound. Maybe it's defective. Returned and received a gift card from amazon.

U prototype retail is around 30 us and the kits are going for the same price simply because theyre new

Unfortunately as of now the kits cost just as much if not more

Hopefully in the future the price will come down

Unlike the earlier yokai watch models this one can play all the previous japanese medals

If you want to buy this for a child you might want to wait until the hasbro version comes out in the us

Its even better than the us version of the watch
