I was under the impression that the bamboo had a rough texture but when received it was a nice thin coat of laquer that is none glossy keeping the organic look of the bamboo

For some reason just looking at them i didnt think that they were truly polarized but after testing them i can verify that they are

The polarization does not seem to be on par with some nicer polarized sunglasses i have like maui jims or ray bans but these were also not well over 100 so thats no surprise

Another thing i wanted to point out that is not a surprise at this price point but something to be aware of is that these are not optically correct from edge to edge

Toward the sides of the glasses the degree of slope of the lens changes dramatically and you can see this in a distortion of the reflection on the lenses
