The paste is slightly minty, and safe. My son loves the minty taste, and it's not too overpowering. I love that it's all natural ingredients, and not too many. It stays fresh in its glass jar. I like that it has limited ingredients.

Also there is no seal so that should be added to packaging im still giving this a 5 star rating becasue it haves such great ingredients

My biggest complaint is the packaging the lid gets crusty and difficult to remove
