Pros & Cons

The AI used to provide these results are constantly improving. These results might change.

Pros

The thicker cord definitely wears out your forearm muscles quicker but it still moves. The thicker rope is good for a workout, but the thin speed rope seems to work better for practicing double unders.

The handles feel very nice and are grippy even if you're sweaty. The handle feels quite sturdy and durable, and is quite comfortable for gripping. The handles are smooth and comfortable to grip.

The rope is easy to assemble and feels great in hand. In the meantime, will keep up with the program and add in the speed rope. The rope itself is solid and doesn't keep links or bends, which also helps it be more efficient.

Rope glides smoothly.

The weight of the rope makes jumping much more efficient. There is less stopping/mistakes. I luckily have a laminate floor in my house with an open floor plan.

Cons

Inevitably this shortens the rope so after about 30 rotations it’s too short to clear your feet. This is annoying but manageable.

I have to extend the rope to the end and it keeps coming out of the handle. The screw threads to the handle caps don't tighten properly and are loose.

This is pretty disappointing because it seemed like a good find but wasnt good only after a few weeks. It's not a bad rope but the price you pay, your better finding one more durable. The speed rope is thinner and will last half as long.

Price

I bought a cheaper one and hated it

Shipping

I ordered the ballistyx jump rope a few days back and i ended up trying it as soon as it arrived

Packaging/appearance

First kudos to the company for using sustainable packaging

The jump rope came in a nice box with two styles of rope which were easy to install and also adjustable

The photos i included show how the package came in plastic and then out of plastic

I hate getting large boxes with small products stuffed with a ton of plastic packing pillows
