This is standard ddr3 ram at a reasonable price
Price is on the high end but you really do get what you pay for with this memory

Running an asrock z97 extreme6ac board with an i7 4790k cpu this memory works great with this setup
Pc314900 the 8gb 1866mhz ram is not 88824 as stated in the description
I had ballistix ram in my 64bit pc but only 8gb
At 1600mhz it is stable but i bought it for the higher timing

With todays technology in theory the odds of something bad occurring using modern technology is small the threat of static electricity is unlikely unless you are charged which is why they recommend you to verify youve discharged all of it before touching the internal sensitive components

I havent really put it through its paces in terms of memory tests for speed or anything but just having the extra ram in the system has definitely made things a bit more snappy as the system isnt caching to disk nearly as often
