Pros

Jars are a nice size and seal tight for moisture sensitive kitchen items. Bought these jars for storage of pantry spices used frequently (smaller jars) and sourdough starter for larger jar usage. Ball has new jars to complement this set without the ba... Read More

This is great for scooping stuff out, but i do hope that replacement gaskets will be available. The glass is thick and clear, and the rubber gasket has a perfect airtight seal. Very sturdy glass and easy to lock and seal the latched lids.

It's a beautiful set to have to display on your countertop. The set comes in a nicely branded box. They were packaged very well and survived shipping perfectly.

Each jar comes closed, with cardboard cutouts protecting and separating them. Each jar has a glass lid, with metal latch and rubber ring for an airtight seal.

Cons

Quite disappointed. They break just from opening and closing returning a third set because of this" "if these are made in china they’re not authentic.

Quality

I have used the traditional round glass with the rubber seal and snap lid but this more square design by ball is much nicer

I’m not sure this glass jar is the same ball quality i have always been used to

Packaging/appearance

Definitely a great designed jar but need better packaging to protect it

That being said it sounds like they could use a redesign to avoid the force from the latches breaking the jars
