Pros

The socks are thick and cushiony. The tab in the back is bulkier but provides good protection. The socks wash well, they eventually get some pilling and maybe a loose thread.


Cons

Quality control has gone way downhill. Private equity comes in and quality goes out.

The weave of the fabric also seems looser than that of those i have purchased elsewhere. Super bulky. Not moisture wicking, slips off easily and often. A big meh.

    You don’t feel the weave in the sock on the bottom of your feet like with some socks after a long walk

    Ive read a number of reviews that mention these balegas are fake because they are manufactured in turkey and while that may be true i also own a pair of real balegas and when i compare them the only difference i can feel and see is that the real balegas have cut yarn inside which makes me worry about them unraveling while the fake balegas all the yarn is woven in

    But in the summer they are pretty thick and youre feet get too hot
