Once you do this you will know first hand that the manufacturers claim of running it in water for a few seconds does not do anywhere near a good enough job

I ordered the replacement 2 pack of blades and the first shave went well once again

That blade locked up on about the third shave with iti am not trying to cut long hairs with it at all by the way

At this point i was pretty frustrated because im deployed and cannot quickly send and receive package to rectify the purchase

The middle portion was completely full of hair and was all gummed up from whatever oil they have in there from the manufacturer and a few of the gears that turn the outer blades were gummed up and stuck hence the entire things locking up

I cleaned out all of the hair and did my best to get rid of the nasty oil it looks like they use a really thick lubricant that gummed up quickly
