When i first tried it the iron it was very frustrating to use then i put the tip from a cheap pos iron i had here and it worked almost acceptably
The temperature control is good but the power is so low and the heat transfer to the tip is so bad that with the stock tip its extremely frustrating to use
The hot air rework portion however actually exceeded my expectations
