Pros

Heavy and fine tooth ratchet make it a tool that works great. Suprisingly good ratcheting mechanism, nice handle.

Commercial grade tool. In general a great multi-purpose tool. It is practically the only phillip head screwdriver i use.

Make tightening and loosening screws a breeze. Turn counter-clockwise to allow me to screw something in.

The williams and the snap on are the same (williams manufactures for snap-on) with the williams even having the snap on part numbers on the bits. The rolgear and megapro get honorable mention even though each had a dealbreaker for me, which may not be...  Read More

Cons

The ergonomics of this stubby handle is poor at best. The drawer slide that holds extra bits is difficult to open, easy to insert upside down by mistake, and occasionally comes loose when i grip the handle. The racheting action has some serious proble...  Read More

Quality

This is an affordable and accessible replacement and has all the quality and performance of the snapon

The build quality as well as its fit finish are impressive

It doesn’t come with the bits it’s still too large in very tight places and the ratchet is not that easy to turn

If you can’t handle the bit situation or maybe you want a knurled knob i’d go with the bahco gearwrench 2 position with pistol grip

Price

I believe this one was available with prime and the price was very close

Don’t discount it’s quality because the price seems too good to be true

Packaging/appearance

The megapro automotive is great unless you are in a salt air climate in which case it’s a no go

If you want a full set with stubby and t and multiple shafts in one box with tons of bits get the gearwrench full set that comes in a box

For a screwdriving ratchet not a ratcheting screwdriver i’d get the wiha set or the all trade powerbuilt 14” stubby which is a ...  Read More

Competitiveness

I bought a used snapon version and ended up giving it to my fatherinlaw because i liked this screwdriver better

Really nice replaced a snapon that i loved by was lost

Personally i hate loose bits rattling around inside the handle like the williams and snapon versions

I have a larger bahco ratchet screwdriver

If i had to say something negative is that the builtin bit holder could use some rethinking—maybe something that screws off instead of having to press the small for my hands catch releases on either side
