Adhesion to the ir sensor on the tv or whatever device you want to control. Used on both my soundbar and tv. Need this repeater once a year when the christmas garland on the mantle blocks their sensor on our samsung screen.

Half the time nothing happens or it only takes one command. Disapointed about keeping the cabinet doors open.

Hint dont remove tape which covers ir emitters adhesive surface until location of ir detector is located

Then after all that remove film covering sticky surface and apply ir emitter over units ir detector

The tape on the part you put on the receiver on the tv is weak and i had to glue it on for it to stay i also had to adjust the settings on my tv to keep power to the usb when it was off so i could use it to turn on the tv
