They are certainly quite a bit heavier than some of the poles i have seen in the sporting goods store but those poloes were also much more expensive than these and i couldnt bring myself to pay that much since i am only a beginner at this
They are not the best poles out there on the market they are bit heavy since they are aluminum and not carbon fiber they have twist locks instead of easy flip locks and they will bend if you leverage them because they are made of aluminum
