Took about four hours for a first timer to install. Great videos on the tube for installing. Good youtube vids on that.

Motor has a lot of torque and crushes hills. Pedal assist 1 offers some help while you are pedaling, level 2 a little more, and 3 is like turbo. I still have my road bike for 'flatter' terrain but this kit allows me to do some serious climbing.

The levels equate to speed. Of course, that commits you to the mid-drive. Either way, still a good setup.

I hope it lasts. And bafang is the leader for the diy.
