Pros

If you have the 36 model with the fold-down side shelves like mine, the lid still installs cleanly. Seems to be a little wiggle room after putting on the washers and acorn nuts but adding a washer will solve that problem and the sturdiness.

Family owned and operated small business. Highly recommend purchasing from this seller. Company's service is fantastic too.

Covers entire griddle perfectly while closed and does not interfere with drip pan. This top lets you capture the heat while cooking and cook food more evenly. Leaves room above the griddle top to act as a steamer to melt cheese.

The lid is sturdy and so easy to open & close. The lid itself is extremely sturdy and fulfills all of our cooking needs.

Only downside is the handle isn’t comfortable to grip. Only complaint is it needs a way to lock it in the up right position.

Cons

The one i received seems more like a factory second than new. Arrived with a dent and scrapes.

The lid must have floating inside the packaging and caused rubbing on the paint finish

The packaging for the lid was not adequate to protect the finish on the surface
