Pros

Easy to assemble, easy to install, took 1hr after reading the instructions. By yourself it takes about 3 hrs to assemble with inclosed hardware. I suggest you get a drill it will help speed up the assembly.

This is a beautiful swing and the cedar smells great. Spent many evenings swinging comfortably.

The wood is fairly soft but sturdy. It is comfortable to sit in. Amp; comfortable.

The finished product looks fantastic with its natural color, which i protected with a healthy coating of water seal. When finished brushed on two coats of exterior polyurethane.

Cons

It is cheap knotted pined wood that was colored to appear like cedar. The back cross pieces were cut incorrectly and did not fit on one of the sides. Assembly isn't for the faint of heart.

It took 3 days but that was probably due to the weekend not their lack of response

I sent pictures to backyard discovery and they quickly sent replacements

Packaging/appearance

One last note great packaging not one piece of styrofoam

All parts were in the box and even a couple of extra bolts and nuts

As soon as i opened the box you can smell the cedar wood it was freshly cut

I added a coat of protective stain to it clear and it looks really sharpe
