It works great at dispersing the weight. It also reliefs pressure from equipment. It disperses the weight from a small area to a larger area.

About two weeks in, my discomfort, and most importantly my sciatica pain, was gone. After wearing it for a few days i begin to notice the relief and stress in my back was tremendously improving.

I wear the brace every work day and it fits like a glove. Coupled with suspenders and a front load bearing vest, this back brace makes work bearable now.

The only cons are the price and the learning curve in securing it to your belt. Purchased direct from the seller last year. Placing this product on amazon makes it easier for officers to order it!

It works (okay) not great not awesome not fantastic. The way you secure it with the keepers never fit right. The design is not super friendly for le that wear any items on the back side of their belt.
