Pros
I usually have other lightning on in the room to soften. It produces a very readable soft light and illuminates my task area.
This is easily the best one i've tried, because instead of clamping onto a surface, it has its own base. The slim and cool slender design also makes it look very fancy on the kids' desks.
Touchpad style controls with dimmer. Mine has 5 level dimmer and the touch pad is different. The touch dimmer is great going from very bright to a mild back light.

The light emitted is very strongly white vs softer tones so i usually have other lightning on in the room to soften

Lamp fully assembled except for the plug adapter was encased in more stiff cardboard with a thin plastic protective coating to prevent the lamp from being scratched by the cardboard

Like i said the bulb was already in the lamp surprised me since most lamps come with the bulb in bubblewrap and you have to figure out how to insert it without cracking the lamps neck
