Its a little tricky to use the chin strap since our baby apparently has no neck but this is a problem with all hats
My 9 month old could remove all of the other sun hats we had tried and this hat stays on her head its seems comfortable for the baby because its adjustable and stays put the baby doesnt fuss because it doesnt keep falling in his face
