It is gentle on my familys sensitive skin types
The girls use their loofahs for this but a washcloth works just fine

I love that this has a pump rather than being a squeeze tube or a capped product as it helps to keep the area and bottle less messy not to mention that there is no struggle dispensing the wash using one hand

This lathers well as a sort of cream on its own without water but thins and bubbles up slightly when added

The name however makes it sound like can be used for shampoo but the description indicates it is just a body wash
