Pros

We have this in the family room to cover the hardwood floor, and it has a decent thickness. It's soft and has some cushion to take a minor fall - better then being on hard wood floor. Much heavier than i expected which is a plus.

I never write reviews but this playmat deserves one. I'm a dad that spends way too much time researching items online. This playmat is one of those items.

Cons

The mat has a strong chemical smell right out-of-box. Other customers have complained about the strong odor. The flip side looks like a more refined rug, but none of this matters when such an expensive mat is unsafe for my child.

This mat is advertised as being non toxic. The mat is probably off-gasing and releasing chemicals in the air. Apparently, all pvc is bad.

Love this play mat i have used it for more than 5 years and the quality is still very good

I was very pleased with the quality of the mat from the moment i opened it

Everyone that comes over knows to not walk on it and to take their shoes off if they want to sit on it and play with the baby

Its cheaper but turns out the quality is different

Packaging/appearance

It does need to be aired out for a day or so to get rid of the packaging smell but it is wonderful

Competitiveness

We ordered the large size playmat and it came well packaged with no tears or any damage

We really didnt have time to bargian shop but if you do you might be able to find something better and cheaper elsewhere
