The first light panel unit like this that i purchased lasted about four years of constant running use it was hard to tell whether the first led panel i bought became materially weak or the kickdown transformer began to malfunction but the light began to flicker

Keep in mind the modifications are not trivial so know what youre doing or have someone qualified do it for you since while it does not require you to modify your home electrical it does require modifying the fan plug in to splice the led light into it
