And i believe this is the principle reason for the very mixed reviews some perseverance may be necessary to find the right fit they are not in ear earphones and there is no sound isolation

There is a beoplay android and ios app that connects to the earset via bluetooth and allows you to tweak the eq of the earset

It’s almost impossible to get l and r earbuds mixed up they can only fit one way and one look at the manual shows this in any event the usb c socket is on the left earphone which is also closest to the control pad

The foam covers are really hard to fit and one popped off the first time i used the headphones so are best dispensed with

I did the same with the original ipod headphones and the covers are not essential as these earphones sit outside the ear canal
