Pros

D-mannose is the most commonly available over the counter preparation of this product available. These little pills make my life tolerable. No adverse side effects for me. Same medication as at pharmacy but much less expensive.

I am never without the azo pills, as i have frequent utis and those little pills are a life saver. If you have a uti this does not treat it, just helps ease the pain and discomfort.

The tablets provide relief from pain on urination. It has a numbing effect on the bladder pain. Our water has lots of minerals and comes from a limestone aquifer which seems to keep me in urinary distress.

I have interstitial cystitis and this stuff is what saves me in minor flares.

Cons

Store brand ones had a sugar coating that tasted sweet and cost 1/10th the price for the same pill. The product is cheap and harmless, so maybe it's worth a try. Just don't expect miracles.
