The installation process is a bit odd. On windows you plug it in and launch the setup file that's on the device.
Cons
Installing some rando driver that windows can't find on its own is a major nope from me. I've never heard of the company, i have no idea where the driver came from.

I got this for my laptop to use when in my room as the wifi is in the complete opposite side of the house and wifi extenders don’t really help
