Pros

Air curtain keeps flying insects out of the house. Takes some getting used to as the opening of the door forces air down. But beats a house full every time the door opens!

To make it much quieter i added a router speed control dial from harbor freight.

The switch has enough wire to mount it on a left or right hinged door. There are many ways to frame above a door but in many cases there is a large piece of wood across the top of the door called a header to get a framing screw into.

Cons

It blows very little on the outside of the door where the flies are and blows extremely hard inside the door. The fins that control airflow are nonadjustable so there is no way to change the airflow. Lasted about a year, then died.
