So i went ahead and bought this 12v to 24v step up converter because the compressor needs 24v
Hooked to 12 volt in rv output measured 23
The original inverter was designed to run off either 12v dc or 120v ac batteries or shore power but i decided i did not need the 120v ac functionality because if im on shore power the battery charger is running anyways
9 volts but when 3 amp load applied voltage dropped to same as input 12 volts
