Pros

If they are all the way tuned to one side they feel sluggish but give you better modulation capability. They also have a nice finish. No need to look for an upgrade, these are great.

These appear to be well made and sturdy basic brake handles. Confident braking is priceless and they definitely increased my confidence. Occasional trail rider.

The adjustibility of the leverage point seems a little gimmicky at first. The adjustment knob makes up for the dollar difference. Love the adjustable leverage.

The shimanos really only were a 23 finger lever whereas you could use all your fingers on the sd7s

I used them to convert a older hardtail from cantilevers to linear pull
