Pros
We've been preserving food for the past 3 years; however wanted to step it up. Price point, reputation, bag size capability and the ability to do jars; both in the chamber and out.

Was easy to use seems well made
The quality of this machine is very well made
I found the vacuum even on its highest level to still be virtually weak and the bags that it come with leak in time
After a few tests this week the usvx chamber sealer didn’t suck up any liquid and tightly sealed every bag i put in so no more freezer burn
Price
I know what you’re going to say it’s pricey… it’s worth it
The priced and some of the reviews helped in picking this sealer
I was on fence spend this amount for a vacuum sealer i had the 120 box store special for a few years
I was hesitant about spending this amount for this product but you definitely get what you pay for
Shipping
It arrived on time and packaged excellently
I only received this about two weeks ago but i’ve used it probably a dozen times
It was also delivered with a lot of care by amazon
Packaging/appearance
We included a before and after picture of some chicken we sealed and a video of pasta being sealed
Competitiveness
I have used many other brands and been disappointed
We went with the avid brand because the weight wasnt nearly as much as some comparable brands and we didnt plan to keep it out ... Read More

After using it a couple of times i started vacuum sealing the meat that was in my freezer to prevent freezer burn

Couldnt seal mylar bags with any of my other sealers

Dont put to much marinade in the pouch it expands

It was also reassuring to purchase a vacuum sealer from a company such as avid armor that specializes in vacuum sealers rather than merely offering them as a side line to many other products
