Also its super easy to set up right out of the package
I can run obs and capture video and audio directly from the avermedia

My advice for anyone looking to get this is to be careful as i had the power usb part of the device break on me after 1 year of use however i was able to contact the company that makes the product and was able to get them to fix it and only had to pay for the shipping of the product to the company to be fixed

The only thing i have a little issue with is how bad the quick guide was for the card it didnt really explain anything at all just where to plug everything in i was hoping to get a little bit more information about how the lights are supposed to glow and whatnot on the card but oh well i found a online manual for it that explained it a bit better

Got the recorder out of its box put in the micro sd card i got for it then set it to sd card mode

Opened the mov file to play it

Played back the recording with it on pause with frame advance to advance each frame manually
